Little Rainbows

The vision for Little Rainbows, as started in 1995/96, was to provide a Parent and Toddler group that incorporated a singing time called "See and Know", aimed at sharing Christian truths with babies and toddlers through simple songs.  We also aim to provide a friendly supportive and welcoming environment for mums and carers to meet and chat, as well as a stimulating and structured play environment for the children.

In the last two years we have also felt led to pray and reach out more to the mums/carers.  So far, this has been by providing an opportunity to have a meal together.  Each team also felt it was right to be willing to commit to running/joining an Alpha course for parents of the children, but there was no take up on this. Since this time, our numbers on Tuesday and Wednesday have increased to the extent we have a waiting list for both mornings.

The team now feel the need to seek God for further vision on what His plans and heart are for Little Rainbows. Is this something He is wanting for us to expand, if so, how?
We also want to clarify and understand God's plan for working together with the fellowship on how Little Rainbows fits into the Church's evangelism, and the encouragement of families being introduced to Jesus.  In particular, how this may fit with the vision for Friday BGs and the outreach to their families.

It seems we are at a place with fantastic opportunities laid before us, but we would like to work together to discover God's plans for this work and exactly how it all fits together.
