Prayer

The elders are very keen to encourage each of our prayer lives - both individual and with others. Here are some ways you could get involved.

Prayer Cards:

If you have not yet received a prayer card / bookmark, or if you would like some more, there is a box with plenty of them on the stage. Please take them and use them in your personal prayer time.

Prayer Meetings:

There are two prayer meetings on Tuesdays.

  • Tuesday mornings from 09:15am in the church parlour. This meeting focuses on interceding before God for the needs of the church and looks to fulfil the role as “watchmen on the walls” (Isaiah 62:6). For more information, please speak to Anne Muggeridge, Kath Farquharson- Welsh or Janet Tunnicliffe.
  • TUESDAY EVENING PRAYER MEETING.  Due to Dorothy being unable to meet with us at the moment, for the foreseeable future, the Tuesday evening prayer meeting will be held at Brooklands, 39 Canada Drive, Rawdon, at 7.30pm.
A warm invitation is extended to anyone else who would like to join us. We have seen God at work, answering many prayer requests, so please just come along.
We would also like to express our thanks to Dorothy for being instrumental in the formation of the group and for her steadfast devotion at the heart of it over many years. We pray for peace and contentment in her Lord as she takes things more slowly..

YBA PRAYER REQUESTS
