Welcome to the web site of Lister Hill Baptist Church, and thanks for paying us a visit. 

Spring is a time when our spirits are raised as the long winter ends, days become sunnier, longer and warmer, birds twitter in the trees and vegetation once more starts to grow. For Christians spring is also when we celebrate Easter, the most important festival of the year because it celebrates the central miracle of our faith, the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

We are a family friendly church with many young married couples with children.  Our typical Sunday morning congregation ages range from a few months to the mid-80s.  Our evening service includes young people (13+) through to our older members.  Our young people are active throughout the church and their worship group/band have been involved in many events outside church.
